6 days skiing. Two countries. Three mountains. 1 Fall. Zero injuries.
There were endless views, tasty brews, and time well spent with the love of my life, Angela Lozano.
What stood out?
1. Nothing beats time outdoors. And, for the first time, I skied entirely without headphones or music. It was fantastic to unplug and just be one with nature completely.
2. Knowing when to quit is smarter than relying on grit, in this case, and some others. Sure, I wanted to press on and shred, and I could have…but I also loved finishing the day knowing I could ski another. And…
3. We all have an “accent” to someone else. And the more different ones we can hear, the more perspective we can gain.
